If you ask me what are my takeaways from this post, then these are:

1. Search is about two things. Precision and Recall
2. Co-evolution of technology and users

Firstly, thinking on the lines of my takeaways, then it become more evident that CUIL is bound to be a failure (if I may say so), since I barely found both. Even Afzal agrees (here's the link:  http://tinyurl.com/5jtygk Read the comments). Also not forgetting that industry is working on the Web 3.0/Semantic Web, so I didn't see much improvements on that front too. So will keep my fingers crossed and do the wait-n-watch game.
